Who is the artist known as Coralie?
Coralie Anita Stephens grew up on the spongey gold and green marshlands of the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. She spent summer months frolicking amongst the trees, lakes, and Pacific Ocean, watching the circle of life happen all around. The cold, dark winter months were spent reading, writing, and drawing.
Coralie dreamt of becoming a fully fed artist in the harsh world ahead. She was the featured artist for multiple months in a row at local businesses in Kenai and painted winter scenes on local businesses’ windows. She sold her artwork in Anchorage, Alaska before settling down in Denver with her partner, two boys ,and two dogs.
Now she must brave the art world once more in hopes to make enough for dinner.
