Who is the artist known as Coralie?

My Alaskan upbringing instilled in me a deep appreciation for the raw beauty of nature. The vibrant, almost surreal landscapes of the Kenai Peninsula- lush marshlands, the crystalline lakes reflecting towering evergreens, the vast powerful Pacific Ocean- served as my inspiration early on in my works. The long, dark winters, while challenging, fostered a love of introspection and creativity. Hours were spent lost in the worlds created through reading, writing, and drawing, nurturing a passion that would eventually lead me to pursue a life as an artist.

Early success came through showcasing my work in my hometown of Kenai. I had the honor of being the featured artist at several local businesses for consecutive months, even creating winter-themed window displays that brought a touch of artistic magic to the community. These experiences, coupled with exhibiting my artwork in Anchorage, provided invaluable experience and a growing confidence in my abilities.

Now, based in Denver with my loving family- my partner, two sons, and two devoted canine companions- I’m embarking on a new chapter in my artistic journey. The challenges are different now, but the drive remains the same. My goal isn’t simply to create art; it’s to create art that sustains my family, to weave stories of my past into canvases that resonate with others.
